HOW TO CATCH A THIEF (Episode 2)

:::::::::::::::The Thief:::::::::::::::

In the country, Lagos is one of the best place for business. Not that I have done business in many states though, but, atleast, I have friends in other states who always long to do business in Lagos. Many of them would tell me on the phone that they wish they were in Lagos, but, what they don't understand is that, Lagos might be rich and filled with many business opportunities, but every Lagosian have a common enemy - TRAFFIC, and for my kind of work, traffic is not good for business at all. Oh! I didn't even introduce myself. Kindly forgive my manners. My name is ASH, but you can call me "A". I am a THIEF by profession, and I relocated out of Lagos some months ago because it is not good for business. There are so many  strikes one can make in Lagos. Banks, Companies, Malls, Supermarkets, Filling Station, etc. But, the problem is, "how do you escape?" You strike a bank with lots of money, and then, you battle with traffic. I remember one of the strikes we went for at a filling station, and we were able to part away with a huge some of money. But, while fleeing from the policemen along the way, we were held up in traffic. The traffic was so much that our sporadic shooting could not help clear the road at all. We eventually ran away on foot without the money. To our greatest surprise, it was still announced in the news that the robbers that attacked the filling station went away with a huge amount of money, and my question was, "where is the money?"

So, in summary, traffic is not good for business in Lagos. But since I relocated to Ibadan, business has been blooming. Although, we don't make as much as we made when we were in Lagos, but atleast, we were making steady money from our strikes. One thing we don't do when we return from strikes is counting of money. All we do is listen to the news, and the newscaster would annonouce the amount of money that was stolen. But, don't be decieved, half of whatever is announced is what we truly stole. The other half have been stolen by the managers who make good use of the opportunity we've created for them to steal too. In my team, we already have a sharing fomular for whatsoever we steal. 30% of what we steal goes to the policeman who gives us guns and ammonition, 25% goes to me, the team leader. 10% goes to the D.P.O in the area where the strike is carried out, 5% goes to our general welfare, while the remaining 30% goes to the three other team members. This fomular has been working for us since we relocated to Ibadan, and in all our strikes, we always leave a sign, "A". How about if I tell you that we pray before going for any strike? Yes we do, and as I speak, we just finished praying and preparing for a strike this night.

There you go...we've met the detective, we've met the thief. The detective has been given his first assignment which is to find a way of arresting "A". On the otherhand, "A" is having a good time in the city of Ibadan, as business has started blooming well for him and his team. What next?
