The sound you heard that scared you was just that of a car whose tire got punctured. Your 3 hours journey to school to resume as a fresher continued, and before you knew it, you were already in the school hostel where you are to stay. You were not told of the difficulty that was attached to tertiary education. You were not told you would have to read and prepare for examination with empty stomach. You were not also told of the lecturers that would not come to class and still expect you to know what they never taught. Worst of it all, you were not told of the beautiful ladies that would always find their way towards intelligent and bright students, especially a handsome guy like you. But, despite all the challenges and hurdles you faced, the words of your parents kept you going. Your final year came in such a hurry, and it was the most challenging times of your life, as your father who happened to be the breadwinner of your family had just lost his job at the bank. It was as a result of a fatal mistake he did, and the bank decided to just sack him and not take him to court. Infact, the bank was merciful enough to have sacked him because if he was taken to court, your father might have to spend the rest of his life in prison.
Your parents did not tell you that your father had lost his job. They didn't want to distract you as you were preparing for your final examination. But you later found out when the little amount of money they send to you as your allowance stopped coming. Government had not paid your mother, and your siblings' school fees were their main priority. Your father had taken from his savings to pay up their school fees, and the little amount of money left in his savings is not enough for him to start the "okirika" business his friend had told him would fetch him good money. So, your father decided to execute his plans for the "okirika" business immediately government pays your mum, that is if they pay on time this time around. Admist everything, you graduated with good grades, and you never for once forgot who you are. As if death was waiting for you to graduate from school. As if death had been so busy all this while that he just had time that very moment. If you had the opportunity to ask death a question, your question would have been, "why did you wait till this moment?". One your way home from school after your graduation...

Hmmmmmmm....as they say, if death would accept money, it would be given. But, death would accept nothing the moment it has made up its mind to strike. But, who did death take? How did death take the person away? Let's keep our fingers crossed as we continue the story tomorrow. HALF OF YOUR STORY.
