BEFORE YOU SAY YES

Tade had it all planned out. He knew the weather was cold, and Liz would definitely need something to cover herself to make her warm. He was not particular about the eatery they go to for the date that evening because the eatery didn't matter. The coat would do all the work, or better still, would set the ball in motion for him to ensure a smooth landing. His intention was to propose to Liz. They have been friends for about a year, and he found her to be his very missing rib. He didn't rehearsal so much because he already decided not to say so much, but to just hit the nail on the head. He took his time to visit a store earlier that day to get a ring, so as to make his proposal look serious. As the coat would be doing the major part of the work, he took his time to pick the best of his coats. As they walked along the street that evening, he played along as he had it planned out. "Are you cold?" He asked. Liz answered in the affirmative. "Here. Put this on to make you warm" Tade said as he pulled off his coat. "Thanks." She said, as she gave him a slight smile. He had carefully put the ring in the side pocket of the coat because he knew Liz would want to put her hands in the side pocket to keep her warm. "Please, wait. I want to tell you something" He said. His plan was for Liz to put her hand in the pocket, find the ring in it, bring it out, and he would simply go on his knees to ask the ultimate question. Liz also was suspecting that Tade was up to something. She felt he might want to propose to her, and in her mind, she had her reply waiting if Tade asked the ultimate question. "Do you know?" Tade asked. Trying to just say something till Liz would put her hand in the pocket. "Know what?" Liz asked, as her two hands slide down the pockets to keep her warm. That was the moment Tade was waiting for. As Liz found the ring and brought it out, Tade went on his knees and asked, "Will you marry me?". He didn't say more than that. One of his knees was on the ground while the other was half bent. He looked up to Liz just as a farmer looks up to the sky for rain. "I am A.S. Do you know your own genotype?" Liz asked, after keeping quiet for some seconds. Tade didn't understand Liz's question at first. It was later it started making sense to him. Liz said some other things which didn't enter Tade's ears at all. They simply passed by his ears like a strong wind...

Wait!!! Are you in a serious relationship that is sailing towards marriage? I'm not talking about all this boyfriend/girlfriend thing oooooo. Do you know your genotype or that of your partner? Are you married, and you and your spouse don't even know your genotype? You have to think twice. Marriage is not just about love. It's mainly about compactibility. As an A.S or S.S, it would be suicidal to marry someone of the same genotype. So, sit your partner or spouse down, and iron issues out. The future starts today.
