Dear Diary,
Today is a day I can never forget in my life. After I called my husband to know of his whereabout, and to also tell him I would prepare his favourite meal, beans, for him for dinner, I couldn't hear him speak anymore. At first, I thought it was the network playing its usual pranks on me. So I decided to end the call to call him back. I called him back severally immediately, but he was not picking. "why would he not pick my calls?" I wondered within me. The more I wondered, the more I kept calling. At a point, I stopped calling, and I went ahead to do some other things in the house. After some minutes, my phone rang, and it declared the caller the way Andriod phones do. "My Heartbeat calling…" The phone said, as it kept playing the "Olomi" song I assigned to his number. "Hello Baby !" I said, happy to hear from him again. The voice from the other end was not my husband's voice, and that I was sure of. "please, is this Mena?" The voice asked. I answered in the affirmative, and I followed my response with series of questions, but the caller disregarded my questions and went ahead to ask. "Who are you to the owner of this phone?" The voice asked, ignoring my other questions. I didn't have a choice but to answer the question. "I am his wife." I said. But, within me, I felt I should have said, "I am his unmarried wife." I don't blame the caller who asked me who I am to my husband, rather, I blame my husband who saved my number on his phone with just my name. A name that any of his girlfriends could bear. "Your husband was in a bus that just had an accident, but he has been rushed to the hospital." The caller said. At that point, I was confused to the extent that I didn't really hear the hospital the caller said he was taken to. It was later I started making out the hospital the caller mentioned. Do I say it was good news for me to hear that my husband was involved in a car accident? Or, do I say it was bad news to know that he didn't die in the accident? Well, you might not understand until you hear the rest of my story. "Is he dead?" I asked the caller. With me, I was wishing and praying the caller would tell me my husband was dead. I was hoping the caller would just tell me the mortuary where his dead body is. "You say wetin?" The caller asked me. His question woke me up to reality that I was not supposed to ask such a question. Asking such a question would clearly show I want my husband dead. Well, I'm not denying the fact that I want him dead, just that, you need to hear my story before you judge me.

In the first part of this story, you've seen a little of what is going on through the husband's dream. In this part two, we would simply look at the wife's angle to the story. For those who believe dreams come true, keep your fingers crossed, and for those who believe dreams are just figment of our imaginations, keep your fingers crossed too. But, if at all dreams come true, to what extent do dreams come true. Join me again tomorrow as we hear Mena's side of the story before nailing her to the cross.
