Against her believe as a Christian, Pamilerin decided to visit the native doctor. Her friends at work who suggested the place to her had convinced her that it was not wrong for a Christian to seek help elsewhere. "No be even herb the man dey give person pass?" Friend A asked, looking at Friend B. The day Pamilerin decided to go there, her mind was not settled. She kept having series of nightmares the night before, which made her feel it is all wrong for her to go there. But, she seemed to have no option. She had waited on God, like forever, and she had simply concluded in her mind that God might have forgotten her, eventhough a part of her would still always remind her that God does not fail. She had actually had an encounter with God after her Youth Service, which made her leave Nollywood to join the Christian movie industry. Pamilerin's faith in God giving her a child was already shaky. "Has God really forgiven me? Or could it be that God is punishing me for my past wrongs?" She would always ask herself. Immediately she asks herself the questions, a part of her would still always give her an answer, "But, God has forgiven and forgotten my sins. So, it's not possible for me to be punished for what God has forgiven and forgotten." No doubt, Pamilerin was not confused, and she was not in a dilemma because she knew the truth, but was only allowing her mind to deceive her. That morning, she didn't go out with her car. "I'll take a taxi instead" She told herself as she dropped the car key she had picked earlier. She checked her bag to be sure the description her "good" friends had written for her was still there. "It's the outskirt of the city" She thought within herself as she folded the paper. The road to the place was so rough, and it was hard for her to get a taxi there. The taxi she eventually got charged twice normal. "Madam, the place far well well oooo" The driver convinced. On getting to the village, they asked their way around, and in no time, they got to the compound. In the middle of the compound stood a big tree, with a red cloth tied round it. The tree was used as a shrine, and it scared Pamilerin that she had come there. "Madam, na here?" The driver asked in amazement. "I don't know" she replied with a silent voice. Pamilerin picked her phone to call her friend who had given her the address. After describing the place to her friend with the aim of hearing her friend tell her that she was at the wrong address, she was suprise when her friend said, "yes. That's the place." Pamilerin ended the call at once. She sat in the car for about 2 minutes thinking on what to do. Then, she alighted and closed the door. She had only taken 4 steps when she turned back and entered the car. "Please, let's leave here on time." She demanded of the driver.
On their way back, the driver was the one who started a conversation, interrupting Pamilerin's thought. "Madam, I know say you no know me, but, me I know you." The driver said. Pamilerin was shocked. "Where you for know me?" She asked anxiously. "Madam, no be you act Pastor's wife in Departed Souls?" The driver said in a rather shocking way. He went on to tell Pamilerin the movies she has acted, and how well she had acted them. "The one wey I like pass na Twisted Fate." Pamilerin was suprised. "Madam, if be say you enter that shrine the other time, the question wey I for ask you when you come back, you for no fit answer am. " The driver said. Pamilerin did not need to ask the driver the question he would have asked. She herself knew what the question would have been. It would have been the question she asked her husband who was a pastor in one of the movies she acted. In the movie, her husband was so much on the poor side of life for so many years that he considered going for money ritual. When he told his wife, Pamilerin, she looked at him with shock and asked him the ultimate question which made him change his mind. On getting home, Pamilerin felt so sorry for herself. She was happy on one part that she didn't enter the shrine, but she felt bad on the other hand that she could bring herself so low to the extent of accepting to seek help from a native doctor. She locked herself up in her room, as she prayed and cied endlessly till she slept off. While asleep, she had a dream. She saw herself in the middle of two little children who were wet with blood. The two kids, a boy and a girl, backed her, as she was begging them on her kneels, but, they turned deaf ears. She kept begging and crying, but her tears seemed not to move the kids. While she was begging, someone came around, and whispered to the two kids. Pamilerin could not hear what the person said to the kids, neither could she see his face. But, all what she discovered was that after the man whispered to the kids, they faced her, and handed two different gifts to her. The gifts were beautifully wrapped, and she started unwrapping the gifts. Smiled filled her face as she kept thanking the kids and the man who were already walking away. Her phone's ringing tone woke her up from the dream. When she checked, it was a text message from her friend who advised her to visit the native doctor. After reading the text, she dropped the phone, and reflected over the dream. She couldn't really understand what the dream meant, and by the time she checked the table clock beside her bed, she realized it was time for her to get set for location.
The menstrual period of a lady is always a stressful and pain thing to many of us, especially those who are so much in dire need of a child of their own. They always wish they would miss their period, which would be a good sign of pregnancy to them. Pamilerin also falls in this category. She hated to see her flow regularly. Infact, she wished her flow would never come at all, but instead, her flow came earlier than she expected, which made her more sorrowful and bitter. The pressure from her husband's family had not reduced, and yet, no sign of pregnancy. But, she had learnt her lessons never to seek help else where. Two months after she had the dream which she herself had totally forgotten, she realized that her period had delayed with a day. It didn't bother her much as she knew it would inturn come heavily the following day. But, three days passed, and there was no flow. She didn't want to raise her hope at all. But, after about two weeks of not seeing her flow, she became optimistic. She went to the hospital for a test, and the result was positive. She was pregnant. Four weeks pregnant. It was then her mind went to the dream she had, where two kids gave her two different gifts. A gift that has finally being unwrapped.

All is good that ends well. If Pamilerin has the opportunity to go back to her past, she would not even go down the same road again. She would avoid everything that caused her the injury, so as to avoid any scar from bleeding. We have seen the fate of Pamilerin. Join me tomorrow, as we conclude the story by looking at the final fate of our very Shola. The story is still BLEEDING SCARS.
