The following is a message from ABEDNEGO OGHENECHOVWIERE OMASHONE, a student of English and Literary Studies department, DELSU to ASUU. He has just expressed his mind on the number of days ASUU is using to mourn their departed ex-president, at the detriment of innocent Nigerian students.
What do you have to say???
Omoko, you swift tell-tale bird,
Go, tell them what the oracle has said.
"The parted's departed, and may all parting souls repose in calm repose.
Let the living mourn the unliving, and use no living to mourn the unliving.
Too tragic a beloved is gone, but should the soul of a whole generation be used to mourn a soul parted, thus sayeth the spirit that giveth the utterance:
The parted shall rest in peace,
and the headstrongs shall return in piece, to rest in ashes...
While we yet may, let's remove the hand of the monkey
from the pot of soup ere it turns to that of a human being!
Let's take the live charcoal far away from these kegs of gunpowder, else their explosion shall render the city a pile of ruin.
The show must go on,
Now is d time dat ASUU must call off the strike or face the wrath of the divinities that stir beyond."
I have spoken...
