If you call me a prophet, you won't be far from the truth, but I'll prefer to be called a Realist. I remember telling a friend that once Prof. Darah comes from CONFAB, he would definitely wet the hands of his students. I would say my prophesy came to pass today during Prof. Darah's class with his final year literature students after he has been away for CONFAB for close to 4 months. Just as it is his usual habit to ask his students questions in class, and encourage them with monetary gift, ranging from #500 to #1,000 depending on how difficult the question is, today took a very different dimension as he brought out #2,000 for whoever knows the answer to his question. Such an amount of money is not a child's play in a time like this for students. So, everybody started making efforts to win the money, but after it all, nobody got the answer to the question. But, to further encourage the students, he gave the money to his students to share it among themselves. It brought a lot of uproar as nobody wanted to be left out, but after considering the number of students in the class(less than 40), the benevolent Prof. decided to add #4,000 to the money, making the sum of #6,000 in all. All his students were happy as they showered praises on him as the class came to an end. God bless Prof. G.G Darah, and may God continue to increase him(eventhough he hardly believes in God).
