Dear Femi,
Were you not the one
Who assured me of your love?
Was it not you who called me Princess?
And with your words you rendered me speechless.

Femi,
It was after you sucked my oranges
That I became worthless before you?
It was the day after you entered Jerusalem
That your love became scanty?
And then, Femi, farmine started for me.

Femi,
You started acting strange...
...Stranger than a stranger.
But still, my love for you kept me...
...Stronger than the strongest.
And your insults I bore
More than a pregnant virgin.

Femi,
Your mountain of clothes I still washed
Just as I transformed to your cook.
Your punches I endured
And your love I ceased to enjoy.

Femi,
"Marry me" is your name
But that you failed to do.
I won't blame you for your game
Cos my mistakes I won't re-do.
