I can imagine the experiment. I can imagine God keeping His only begotten Son away from the story of Redemption - the redemption of mankind. He certainly wants His Son by His side all the time. He didn't want to release Him for a whole 33 years. ...then, the experiment started. The experiment to know who can redeem mankind. The experiment that would not let Jesus trade His Heavenly position for 33 years. Still imagining... I can imagine Angel Micheal and Angel Gabriel failing the test. Their bloods don't just qualify. ...on and on goes the test, but none was perfect enough, except Him. I can imagine Him saying with a passionate tone, "Father, please let me go" ...and that was how the 33 years of suffering started, just to redeem mankind. Oh! What a priviledge and a honour.
Thank you Jesus for dying for me.
