Can I tell you one fact that will shock the marrow of your bones? Your boss is a WITCH!. Do you know what the Bible prescribes for such witches…sack them! I am sure that got your attention, it was meant to. This is because unless someone pulls a brake on you, you may not realize you are already toeing the path some of our parents toed and ended up as Retired and fully tired people. All they knew was just to continue to move on in life and wait for promotions and stuffs until events overcame their strength and they ended up tired.
Let me ask you a sincere question “Do you enjoy what you do?” An unverified statistics showed that at least 70% of Nigerians do not enjoy what they do. Alarming..you said?, but it is the sad truth. You wake up in the early hours of the day and rush to “work” to come back late in the night exhausted doing what you don’t enjoy doing? You are desperate to have a job that pays SA-LA-RY (SHA –LA –RI..A Yoruba word meaning You-just –see –it) This is because before the money comes, it is finished.
(Your boss)The man in charge, the man who calls the shot; the man who comes in at leisure and yet checks who came in to work after 8 am; the man who drinks Coffee and have AC working in His office while you guys don’t even have a Fan; the man who stays in the Office and sends you on errand everywhere without releasing the Company cars; the man who speaks to you seated while you stand in his office and he refuses to ask you to sit; the man who calls you by 12:30 am and ask “are you sleeping” ;the man that raises your Blood pressure and Temperature everytime you see his in-coming calls; the man who curses and lashes out at you and your generation at any given time he feels like getting angry; the man who refuses to acknowledge the good work you do but announces to the whole world what you did wrong; the man who usually is not as educated as you are but pays you, an educated illiterate the salary he uses to load his phone credit/airtime; the man who usually is not as smart as you because when you threaten to resign, he increases your SA-LA-RY; The man who usually is not as handsome as you are..He only has money and you don’t and sadly you don’t want to) will always remain your boss for life unless you realize that part of you that says” I CAN CALL THE SHOTS! , I AM A BOSS!”
Let me share with you few points that will turn your life around:
1. GET ANGRY: of course not at me. Was it my fault that you remained there and just kept on complaining? I recommend you buy a Cane and give yourself about 20 strokes of the cane because you have only slaved for someone when you are actually better than him. Anger begets CHANGE!
2. ATTITUDE: Change! Never look down when he talks to you or scold you. Raise your head high and tell yourself you are smarter than this. A senior colleague of mine in another world once said to himself after being scolded by an age mate Boss that” Sorry Lawrence, you are better than this” He never sulked but bounced back knowing it was just for a time.
3. UNDERSTUDY YOUR BOSS: He definitely does not have 2 heads. What is the secret behind his success? Know his story. Look at his good side, there is always a good side. One former Boss that could curse a dead man to life had a good listening ear, you could always see that he cared.
4. SET THE TIME OF EXIT: If you don’t sack him, he will sack you soon. Set the time, save money especially join a cooperative society where you can get soft loans to start.
5. WHAT DO YOU LIKE?: Look around you, there is an entrepreneur in all of us. Look within yourself. Ask questions. What do you have that others don’t? What can you do better than others? What comes to you ceaselessly...for me, I can talk, even for free! Nigeria is blessed with a good population that keeps on increasing on daily basis. Opportunity exist everywhere and all around. I usually recommend Services since it has low Capital investments. Identify needs and simply plan to meet them. I feel repulsive for so many IT guys who sits in the Banks collecting money as Teller. Do you know that at least over half of the Population of Nigerians don’t even have e-mails or are computer literate? Do you know that sourcing for products where it is cheaper and selling where it is more expensive can pay your Sa-LA-Ry?
6. START: Not fully, of course. You might just end up being sacked! Lay the foundation, get the connections, make the contacts, get the funds, make the noise, get a location and run skeletal work. You may even engage the services of your younger ones to help. This can be done at least 6 months before the D-day. Many people jump out of work into their own business without planning well. Every Business has its own starting Hiccups. This will be cushioned by the SA-LA-RY. You will not be discouraged and start looking for me that I encouraged you to leave a plum job for uncertainty. By the time the business is stabilizing, you are ready to take the 7th step signifying perfection..
7. SACK THE MAN!!!: You heard me right, SACK YOUR BOSS.A point of note, every man adjust to every salary increment. You will never be satisfied as long as you earn ONLY sa-la-ry. You have choice to risk your neck now or do it when you are sacked and your strength can’t take risk.
Greatest Students, you can simply avoid all these hassle by starting on point 5 {What do you like?}. I will be dropping Business ideas daily on my page on Facebook SACK YOUR BOSS I will give you ideas and analyse how to start…for free!
You are the only one who can limit yourself, get out of corporate poverty and slavery.Be the BOSS!!!

QUESTION: Tackle Your Obstacle> Did you hear that? He hates bosses. But sir, you certainly are someone's boss right now, with this, won't your workers start thinking of how to "sack" you too?
ANSWER: Okuneye Olumide John >Success for me in life is how many people I can make an impact on. How many successes came out of me. I won’t employ someone for more than 5years if he has no plan to be an extension of the success that I am. That is why I invest heavily in people. They will sustain you when the strength is fading. I want to be a man with connections everywhere, it’s the best success for me. So let them plan to exit or I will exit them soon. I realize as I walk around the nation that a lot of people are just tagging along in life and are not enjoying what they do. I see a lot of good potentials wasting away in Banks and other corporate slave houses .All of them look sad, but they can’t just take the ultimate step "sack the boss" and launch out on your own. Also, I hate poverty with passion but many are living in fake realms surviving only on salary. A man whose only source of income in life is “sa-la-ry” can never be rich. The truth is you can’t be richer than your employer. The action you refuse to take now when the strength is there, you may have to take when the strength has disappeared...that usually worse.

QUESTIONS: Emeke Nwaoboli >Many have business ideas but no capital, what do you suggest to such people? Akinkitan Joel Olaitan A typical example is myself, I have engage in a motivational quotes, but finance has been the sets back.
ANSWER 1: Okuneye Olumide John >Every good business will have finance except you don’t believe in it. How passionate are you about it. How convincing can you be? There are people now who are tied down but want to do business. A good idea given to them will get partnership. Never be afraid to go into partnership. Infact, I don’t like risk too much so I like doing business with other people's money. Apprenticeship is great but you must have a time frame. I send people to do apprenticeship, it is vital to establishing good biz. @Joel, why not repackage what you have. I hate doing things d way others do it.tap into the creativity within and re package. What of e-book of motivational quotes? Have you heard of audio motivational quotes? blogs, websites, referrals, pages etc.
ANSWER 2: Tackle Your Obstacle @Akinkitan Joel Olaitan, I strongly believe that's the excuse many hide under, where as, "an obstacle will not say you should not tackle, but. it's left to you to spread your tentacle and use your spectacle to tackle your obstacle". Also, as the author of 2 book, I can't categorically tell you where I got my finance from, but I know it came. and that's why, as I am now, there nothing I want to embark on that I would be looking at finance.

ANSWER: Okuneye Olumide John> Business ideas? This is the least of all problems. People will pay for whatever will provide solution to them. Businesses are answers to questions people ask. So ask the question and write the business.

ANSWER 1: Tackle Your Obstacle Like our guest speaker rightly said, "Success for me in life is how many people I can make an impact on, how many successes came out of me. I won’t employ someone for more than 5 years if he has no plan to be an extension of the success that I am. That is why I invest heavily in people. They will sustain you when the strength is fading. I want to be a man with connections everywhere, it’s the best success for me. So let them plan to exit or I will exit them soon."
ANSWER 2: Okuneye Olumide John They should employ more "mumu" sorry for saying that way. The labour market can never be filled. So as you are sacked as a boss employ others who should sack you.
